Fixtures, scores and results
Every fixture has its own page, opened from the league's fixture list or your dashboard. This is where a match is played, scored and settled.
Which of these you can do depends on your role: league admins can do all of it, and in a team it's whoever the team owner has given the job (picking the line-up, scoring, entering results). See Teams and team members.
Before the match
- Availability: players mark themselves Available or Unavailable for the fixture under Your Availability, and whoever picks the side sees the answers next to each name.
- Reminders: everyone in a fixture gets a reminder a day or two before. Players can switch reminders off in Settings › Notifications.
- Postponing: before the match starts, a team can press Request postponement, give a reason and, if they like, propose a new date. A league admin approves or rejects it. Approve with a new date and the fixture moves there; without one it's marked postponed until an admin gives it a date. A league can limit how many times each team postpones in a season.
Starting the match
- Who goes first: depending on the league's setting, the fixture shows who throws (or breaks, or serves) first, or asks for a coin toss: toss a real coin and tap who won, or toss one on the screen.
- Line-ups: each side picks its players for each match. Depending on the match format, the line-up goes in one match at a time as the night goes on, or the whole line-up goes in before the start and both are revealed together. A suspended player can't be picked.
- Confirm start: if the format asks for it, both sides confirm before the match begins.
Scoring it
- Live: score each leg, frame or game as it's played. The score updates for everyone watching, and stats are recorded as you go (on paid plans).
- Enter result: type the final score instead. Leagues run by hand do this for every fixture.
- A guest player: if a side is a guest with no account, a league admin can copy the Guest scoring link and send it to them, so they can enter scores from their own phone without signing up.
Can't finish a match once it's started? Press Request fixture abort and give a reason. A league admin decides what happens to it.
Confirming the result
If the league's Results setting says the other side must confirm, the score waits as Result pending confirmation. The other side confirms it, or disputes it with a reason, and a disputed result goes to the league admins to settle. Otherwise the score counts as soon as it's saved.
League admins can correct any result afterwards. The table, stats and awards are worked out again.
Printing and streaming
Every fixture can be printed as a match sheet, and shown as a live scorebar in streaming software. See Match sheets, stream overlays, embeds and photos.
