Bringing a league that's already running

Moving your league here part-way through a season? Bring the season across as it stands and carry on from there. Open the League admin panel and choose Import data.

1. Name the season

Give the season you're bringing in its name, "2025/26" say, and press Start import. You can leave an import and come back to it: unfinished imports are listed on the same page.

2. Roster & players

Add your divisions, then the teams in each with their players (or just the players, in a league of individuals). Type names one at a time, or press Paste list and paste a whole list, one name per line. If a long list is interrupted, it carries on where it stopped.

Players come in as guests, so nobody needs an account yet. Use Add a registered player for anyone who already has one.

3. Fixtures

Add the fixtures already played, with their past dates and divisions, and the round or week if you like.

4. Results

Enter the score of each played fixture.

5. Stats

If the league keeps stats, enter each player's totals for the season so far.

6. Finish & go live

Press Finish & go live. The table is built from the results, the season goes live, and the rest of it runs as normal from the next match.

Afterwards

  • When a guest player signs up, an admin can link their guest record to their account, and their history comes with them.
  • Imported fixtures, players and results belong to that league only.
  • When the season ends, start the next one the usual way. See Running a league.

If your league is run by hand rather than live in the app, see How this league is run in Running a league: results can be typed in and stats entered as season totals all season long.
