Plans and limits

Everyone starts on the Free plan, which runs a pub cup or a small league properly. Paid plans raise the limits and add features. Your plan is under Settings › Subscription.

What Free includes

  • 1 league running at a time, with up to 10 players in a season and 1 division.
  • 1 cup running at a time: a straight knockout for up to 8 players.
  • Typing players' names straight into a cup, so each of them can claim their spot later. In a league, players join with the league's link; typing names into leagues and teams is on paid plans.
  • The latest season of each league. Older seasons are kept, but hidden until you upgrade.

Not on Free: stats, your own stat types, cup formats other than a straight knockout, a sponsor on your league pages, AI-written reports, friendlies, the Arena Showcase screen, and a portal without our branding.

How the limits are counted

  • Leagues count from the moment their first season starts.
  • Cups count from the moment they're made, until they finish or are ended early.
  • Players in a league are counted across a season: everyone in it, and for a team, every player on the team. On Free that's about two teams of five.
  • Players in a cup are its entrants, players or teams.

Whose plan?

A league or cup runs on its owner's plan, whoever is helping to run it. A co-admin works to the owner's limits and features, not their own. When you hand a league or cup to someone else, it moves onto their plan and stops counting on yours.

Moving to a smaller plan

Nothing is deleted, and anything already running carries on to the end. Until you're back within your plan you can't start a new season or a new cup, and you'll be told what's over the limit when you try. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

Extra limits from a code

A code, or a grant from us, can add to a limit on top of your plan: an extra cup, say. Extras add up rather than replace each other. See Sign-up and redemption codes.
