Your profile, privacy and friends
Your profile collects everything you've played: your teams, results, stats, awards and the competitions you've been in. You decide who can see it.
Who can see your profile
Choose in Settings › Profile:
- Public: anyone on the web.
- League members: people who share a league with you.
- Friends: only your confirmed friends.
- Private: only you.
Anyone who isn't allowed sees a short notice instead of your profile, never your details.
Your date of birth
Add it in Settings › Profile. It's never shown to anyone. A competition with an age limit uses it to check you can play.
Players under 16 are protected automatically: their names are hidden on public pages (league pages, public tables and website embeds), whatever their profile setting.
Friends
On Friends, search for someone and send a friend request; they accept or decline. Friends are what the Friends privacy setting above uses. You can also block someone, which stops all contact and requests from them, or mute them, which keeps you connected but quiet. They aren't told either way.
Signing in
Sign in with your email and password, or with Google or Facebook. Settings › Security is where you change your password and turn on two-factor sign-in, which asks for a code from your phone as well as your password.
Resetting or deleting your account
Settings › Account offers two ways out:
- Reset account: start again from scratch. You keep your sign-in, two-factor and plan; everything else attached to you is cleared.
- Delete account: your account and its personal data are deleted for good, and any paid subscription is cancelled.
The page lists anything you need to deal with first, so nobody else's league or cup is left without an owner: hand over a league or cup you own, close a season or end a cup that's still running, and hand over any team you own. It then shows what will happen to everything else.
