The sports

Every league and cup is for one sport, chosen when you set it up. It can't be changed afterwards. The sport decides the words used everywhere (legs, frames, goals, sets), how a match is scored, and which games you can pick.

Sport A match is won in Who goes first
Darts legs who throws first
Pool frames who breaks
Snooker frames who breaks
Football goals kick-off
Padel sets of games serve
Golf holes tee order
Tennis sets serve
Table tennis games serve
Other the unit you choose who goes first

Who goes first is a setting on each league and cup: home, away, or decided by a coin toss. In darts it can also be a coin toss and then a bull-up for each leg.

Darts

Games: 501 (double out, straight out, or double in and double out), 301, 701, Around the Board, Cricket, Shanghai and Killer. A match is a number of legs, best of 3 or 5 for example, and can be scored live leg by leg. On paid plans the standard stats are recorded too: 180s, tons, ton-plus visits and finishes, maximum checkouts, bullseye finishes, nine-darters and short legs (under 20 darts).

Pool

Games: 8-ball (UK blackball rules), 8-ball (American, solids and stripes), 9-ball and 10-ball. A match is a number of frames.

Snooker

A standard frame, or a six-red frame for a quicker night. A match is a number of frames.

Football

A full match (2 × 45), a match with extra time if it's level, or small-sided (2 × 20). The score is in goals. On paid plans you can record goals, assists, clean sheets, cards, own goals, penalties and man of the match.

Padel

Doubles, scored in sets of games with tie-breaks, plus Americano and Mexicano club nights. See Padel.

Golf

Match play over 9 or 18 holes, hole by hole. See Golf.

Tennis

A set with a tie-break at six games all, an advantage set (win by two games), Fast4 (first to four games), or a pro set (first to eight). A match is a number of sets.

Table tennis

Games to 11 (the modern way) or to 21 (the traditional way), won by two clear points. A match is a number of games, best of 5 for example.

Any other sport

Choose Other and pick what a match is made of: games, legs, frames, sets, ends or rounds, or a single score for the whole match.

Stats in each sport

Darts and football come with their standard stats. In any sport, a league or cup on a paid plan can add its own (most centuries in snooker, say). See Stats.
