Transfers, suspensions and waitlists

Tools for keeping a season fair when players move, misbehave, or there isn't room for everyone. All of them are in the League admin panel.

Transfers

When a player moves to another team mid-season, record it on Transfers. Approve it and the player moves straight away; their eligibility to play for the new team then needs an admin's approval, like any new signing. Reject it and nothing changes. A player can only have one transfer waiting at a time, and every transfer is kept as a record of who moved, when and why.

Warnings and suspensions

On Disciplinary, press Add disciplinary action, pick the player and choose:

  • Warning: recorded against the player with a reason. It doesn't stop them playing, but it stays on their record.
  • Suspension: for a number of matches, or leave the number blank for an indefinite suspension. A suspended player can't be picked in a line-up.

A suspension can cover this season only, this season and the league's cups, or every competition you run. A suspension for a set number of matches lifts itself once the player's team has played them; an admin can lift any suspension early.

Waitlists

When a division is full, a team or player who wants in can go on its waitlist instead of being turned away. When a place opens up, move them in from the Waitlists section of the participants page. To set how many a division holds, see Divisions, venues and match nights.
